This interactive workshop will explore key professional competencies for continuing education (CE) administrators, with a focus on systems thinking, partnerships, and interprofessional education. Participants will engage in case studies, collaborative discussions, and strategic planning exercises to enhance their ability to analyze complex CE systems, foster meaningful partnerships, and develop interprofessional education initiatives. By the end of the session, attendees will have practical tools and frameworks to improve collaboration, partnerships, and interprofessional education initiatives in CE programs.
Learning Objectives:
- Engaging in Systems Thinking in CE: Participants will analyze the interconnected components of continuing education programs to identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and improved learner outcomes.
- Partnerships: Participants will develop strategies for cultivating and sustaining partnerships with academic institutions, community partners, and regulatory bodies to enhance CE offerings.
- Interprofessional Continuing Education: Participants will design interprofessional education initiatives that foster collaboration among diverse professional groups, improving teamwork and patient or client outcomes through interdisciplinary learning.
